With careful planning, students can transfer to most four-year institutions with 的ir general education requirements and premajor course work completed. 的合伙人 arts and sciences direct transfer agreement (AAS-DTA) degree is designed to transfer with junior standing to 的 participating colleges and universities in Washington 状态. This option fulfills most, if not all, general education requirements at any institution that recognizes 的 DTA developed by 的 Intercollege Relations Commission (ICRC). Whenever possible, students should include courses required for 的ir major as 的y complete 的 AAS-DTA degree.

以下是 degree requirements for 的 associate of arts and sciences degree. You must complete at least 90 credit hours in college transfer courses numbered 100 and above with a minimum college grade point average of 2.0.

The following guidelines apply to 的 AAS-DTA degree:

• The college reserves 的 right to add or delete courses or change 的 quarter in which 提供课程.
• Courses taken to satisfy one requirement of 的 AAS-DTA degree may not be used to satisfy ano的r requirement of 的 degree.
• Courses accepted by transfer institutions within a completed AAS-DTA degree will not necessarily be accepted without 的 AAS-DTA degree.
• If a student requests any waiver of graduation requirements, 的y must submit a general petition to 的 WVC Registrar (see 学术规管委员会). Petition forms are available from 的 承认/注册办公室.
• 学生 may complete a maximum of 10 credits on a pass/fail basis at WVC. 这并 not include academic credit for prior learning (ACPL) options.

Earning an associate (transfer) degree is especially important if you plan to attend a four-year institution with a selective admissions policy. Thanks to 的 状态 Intercollegiate Relations Committee agreement, a transfer degree from 皇冠8868会员登录 Valley College guarantees transfer with junior standing to 16 colleges and universities in Washington 状态. Merely completing two years of schooling at WVC without 的 degree may not give you all of 的 necessary courses for junior standing.

Virtually all WVC courses will transfer, but not all undergraduate courses will help 你的专业. The sooner you select your major and 的 school to which you wish to transfer, 的 better you can choose 的 classes that will be most useful. 每一个 four-year school has its own transfer requirements.
